Casper never married and lived by Lake 21 in Maplewood township, which is now part of Maplewood
State Park. Casper had been a farmer, carpenter, and woodcutter. Casper never farmed with a tractor. When he did quit farming, he shot and buried his horses, so nobody would ever be able to mistreat them. |
