Eddie and Ferdinand had trained a billy goat to pull a sled to haul wood in the winter. Eddie was born and raised in Maplewood Township. He worked for different area farmers as soon as he was able to. He attended Maplwood church and was confirmed there. He was married on the Gustafson farm and then attented the Central Lutheran Church. After he was married he lived on Jennie Johnson's farm, on the Gustafson home place and wtih his mother for five years before moving to the Invald Anderson place until he moved to the high rise in Pelican Rapids. Eddie really enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was younger. |
