After the death of her first husband Ranson Weddle she moved to Marengo, IA Mr Weddle died
in Indiana. She married John Thornton in 1858, they had six children. Only three lived.
At the time of her death she left to mourn one sister, one brother and two sons, one daughter
from the Thornton Marriage and one daughter from her first marriage. Funeral services were
held at Chritian Church in North English, IA. She is buried in North English cemetery/ Sarah had a cousin Fin Dunlap, it appears he was the son of her brother. Must have been half brother with the different last names. |
